Straight Talk About Safety:

Keeping Kids Safe While Breaking Free of Fear-based parenting

An Empowering 5-Day Safe Parenting Summit

Join us March 4-8, 2024

A free online event!

Designed for parents with kids ages 4-14.

Find out what to worry about, what you can let go of, and how to break free of fear-based parenting.

What did we talk about in our inaugural Summit?

  • Brain-Safe Parenting
  • Sexting & Consent
  • Online Safety
  • Predator & Trafficking Prevention
  • Risk-Appropriate Parenting
  • And so much more!

Want to get your hands on all the incredible sessions from the 2023 summit?

It's not too late!

Parenting well is not a job for the faint of heart.

Mixed with the joy is worry, stress, and an often not-so-healthy dose of fear.

You do your best to keep your kids safe without smothering them, but you know there are times you are missing the mark.

What you really want is …

  • To ditch the "helicopter parenting" while still keeping your child safe in the world.
  • To avoid rescuing your kiddo from every risk and to let them explore the world and their identity in a fun and productive way.
  • To escape the temptation to bury your head in the sand and learn how to keep your kids safe online.
  • To avoid making the mistakes of your parents and to parent in a brain-safe way that builds confidence and connection for parent and child alike.
  • To sidestep the dangers of "velcro" parenting and let your kiddo explore the world and discover who they are.
  • To give the cold shoulder to over-protecting, over-worrying, and over-doing and to step back and let your little ones fly!

The Safe Parenting Summit is About Just That:  Simple Safety for Both Brain and Body.

Meet Your Host

Hey there! I’m Christy, a criminal prosecutor turned PCI Certified Parent Coach®, Certified Positive Discipline Instructor, Certified Fair Play Facilitator, and Certified Gottman Educator.  As the owner of The Heartful Parent Collective, I spend my days helping parents feel like they’re rocking their parenting gigs because, let’s be honest, this stuff is HARD.

As a mom myself of both a kindergartener and a middle schooler, I know what it’s like to worry, and how easily fear can get the best of us.  But I also know that with some education and information, tips and tools, we can move to the other side of that fear to raise empowered, excited kids.

I created this summit to help you make that journey from fear to empowerment so that the children in your life can grow up brain and body safe and ready to tackle the world.

I hope to see you there!

Not your average online summit

I get it.  You may feel like parenting summits are a dime a dozen.  But not all summits–and not all parent education–are created equally.

So what makes this one different?

First, this summit was created with YOU in mind: a mom, a dad, a grandparent, or another loving caregiver who worries about raising safe, healthy, happy, and whole kids in this “post”-pandemic, uber-connected world.

But more importantly, the presenters you will hear from are respected speakers, educators, and researchers, and each session is designed with busy, overwhelmed parents in mind.

You will walk away with oodles of information, feeling empowered and encouraged, and with a clear list of easy-to-implement action steps you can take immediately to make your parenting journey smoother.

“This information is invaluable, and these experts are the best I've heard!" — Kelly O'Brien, MA, LMFT, 2023 Participant

Christy, you're an absolutely excellent interviewer/host. I'm a lawyer myself and can totally see how you use some of the skills you have aquired ot keep it natural, open, and easy to engage with! — Natalie Wortley, 2023 Participant

“I can tell you without a doubt that my children are already safer because of it and I am so incredibly grateful thinking of the impact this information will have on all of us going into their tween and teen years. Like, I'm literally tearing up writing this thinking about how we can approach all of the stuff that is usually scary and awkward as a TEAM instead of it being us against them. And the fact that we're at such an advantage by starting right now when they're little and we can start planting seeds that will mean it's not weird to talk about later. Thank you!” — Krista Miller, 2023 Participant
